Construction & Weather Protection
We engineered the Grizzly Den 8-person tent with a dual-layer design that separates the breathable inner canopy from the waterproof rainfly. The 1200mm polyester floor extends 8 inches up the sidewalls in a bathtub configuration, creating a barrier against ground moisture and pooling rainwater.
Every seam on the rainfly receives factory tape treatment to prevent leaks at stitching points. The coated polyester fabric sheds rain while the mesh roof panels allow moisture vapor to escape, reducing interior condensation on humid nights. Reinforced webbing at each pole sleeve distributes tension across the fabric rather than concentrating stress at single points.
